• Usage Data: Information about how you interact with the platform, including session history, scores, and progress data.
• Device Information: Device type, operating system, and browser information for providing the best experience.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and improve the interview practice platform.
• Generate AI-powered feedback on your interview responses using third-party AI providers.
• Transcribe your audio responses using speech-to-text services.
• Generate AI video interviewers for realistic practice sessions.
• Track your progress and provide performance analytics.
• Send you relevant notifications about your practice sessions (with your permission).

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to provide our platform:

• AI feedback provider: For AI-powered interview feedback and response analysis.
• AI video provider: For generating AI video interviewer content.
• Speech-to-text provider: For transcription of your interview responses.
• Keycloak: For secure authentication and account management.

These services process your data in accordance with their respective privacy policies. We only share the minimum data necessary for each service to function.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. Video and audio recordings are stored in secure cloud storage (AWS S3 in production). We use PostgreSQL databases with separate databases per service to isolate your data. All API communications use HTTPS encryption.

5. Data Retention

We retain your interview data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us. Upon account deletion, we will remove your personal data, interview recordings, and feedback history within 30 days.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data.
• Withdraw consent for data processing.
• Export your data in a portable format.

7. Camera and Microphone

Our app requests access to your device's camera and microphone solely for recording your interview practice responses. These recordings are only used for providing feedback and are never shared with other users. You can revoke these permissions at any time through your device settings.

8. Push Notifications

With your permission, we may send push notifications to remind you about practice sessions or inform you when feedback is ready. You can disable notifications at any time through your device settings.

9. Children's Privacy

Intervu is not intended for use by children under 17. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes through the app or via email. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
